IDM Measure What Matters Conference to be cancelled mid Coronavirus outbreak.
In light of the current outbreak of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the Individual Deprivation Measure team have made a decision to cancel all planned activity for our Measure What Matters Global Conference from April 6-8, 2020.
Though disappointing, we have made this decision to prioritise the health and safety of all confirmed guests and speakers. The current circumstances have put serious strain on our program and ability to facilitate travel for organised speakers and participants.
This Global Conference was designed to bring together global leaders and showcase work from the IDM country studies; Fiji, Indonesia, the Solomon Islands and the Republic of South Africa. Without our global partners’ participation, the conference would lack the desired level of critical engagement and cultural context. Though we are so disappointed to be cancelling this event, we will still be sharing our IDM research findings over the upcoming months, so please keep a close eye on IDM newsletters and announcements.
All tickets will be refunded automatically. We thank our speakers, registrants and supports for understanding and apologise for any inconvenience at this time. Please direct any enquiries to individualdeprivationmeasure[at]anu.edu.au
We appreciate your ongoing support.
